Preventative maintenance will be provided on an agreed schedule, to ensure the smooth operation of your I.T. systems for purpose of fault prevention. The maintenance will include a combination of many tasks – most of which will be carried out remotely.
Remote tasks will be carried out via unattended remote access – we will be able to log into your computers on demand.
We can also go one step further and configure your computers so that we can switch them on remotely outside of office hours.
These tasks are part of the scope of the Preventative Maintenance add-on, and will be part of your I.T. support contract.
We include this add-on free for Plus and Ultimate clients. Clients on the Essentials plan have the option to add this to their contract for £5 per PC per month.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Software/firmware updates
- Operating system updates
- Software installation & housekeeping
- Optimisations & checking settings
- Backup maintenance
Certain tasks will require on-site visitation and we will only be able to carry them out if you have regular on-site visits on your contract. These tasks do not come under the scope of the Preventative Maintenance add-on above but we will carry them out complimentary if you add regular on-site visits to your contract.
On-site tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Visual checks
- Hardware servicing
- Replacing EOL hardware
- Upgrade suggestions
- Diagnostic checks
